Care Instructions

Here's how to care for your different types of Tales of Colors products:

Printed Apparel:

  • Machine wash cold inside-out with a gentle cycle.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach if needed.
  • Avoid fabric softeners and dry cleaning.
  • Tumble dry on low or hang-dry.
  • Iron inside-out with a cool iron. Do not iron the print.

Embroidered Apparel:

  • Machine wash cold inside-out with a gentle cycle.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach or a small amount of chlorine bleach if necessary.
  • Rinse in lukewarm and cold water if you see color residue.
  • Avoid wringing out items; cool air tumble-dry is okay.
  • Iron inside-out between two pieces of cloth if needed.

Embroidered Hats, Backpacks, and Aprons:

  • Hats can be hand-washed or wiped clean.
  • Backpacks and aprons can be machine-washed at 86ºF or lower.
  • Tumble-dry backpacks and aprons on low.

All-Over Printed Apparel:

  • Machine wash cold with like colors, no bleach.
  • Tumble-dry on low heat, no ironing or dry-cleaning.

All-Over Printed Sweatshirts, Hoodies, and Joggers:

  • Machine wash cold with like colors.
  • Iron on low heat if needed, but no tumble-drying, dry-cleaning, or bleach.

Sublimation Socks, Blankets, Towels, Laptop Sleeves:

  • Machine wash cold with like colors at 86ºF or lower.
  • Hang-dry or tumble-dry on low with no bleach or dry-cleaning.

Bags:

  • Hand-wash all-over print backpacks.
  • Machine-wash other bags without bleach on a cold cycle.
  • Tumble-dry on low heat.
  • No bleaching, ironing, or dry-cleaning for any bags.

Pillows and Pillow Cases:

  • Machine-wash pillowcases without bleach on a cold cycle.
  • Tumble-dry on low heat.
  • Pillow inserts should be hand-washed.

Mugs:

  • White Glossy and White Ceramic Mugs with Color Inside are microwave and dishwasher safe.
  • Matte Black, Glossy Black Magic Mugs, and Enamel Mugs should only be hand-washed.
  • Do not use Matte Black and Glossy Black Magic Mugs in the microwave.

Posters and Canvas:

  • Avoid direct sunlight and outdoor exposure.
  • Gently dust with a soft dry cloth or feather duster.

Phone Cases:

  • Remove the case from your phone.
  • Use mild soap and water on a damp cloth or sponge to clean.
  • Air-dry at room temperature.
