Returns and Refunds

Returns 

  • All items must be in brand new, unworn, unwashed and in original condition
  • All items must be returned to us within 31 days of the delivery date
  • Original shipping charges you pay or we pay are not refundable*
  • Invoice must be included in the return package
  • No returns for orders that use a promo code or during any sales 15% off or more
  • We will gladly take care of any defective products.

Start return by emailing us at info@talesofcolors.com with the following:

  • Subject: RETURN Request or EXCHANGE Request
  • Body: Reason for return or exchange request
  • If it's a damaged/quality issue, please attach a photo.

Any items sent to us without our approval first will not be accepted and will be donated to charity.

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of return shipping & we do not refund our costs of shipping the order to you as we still paid shipping to send out (even if it was free shipping).

We recommend shipping it back through a local post office or private courier like USPS since it's the cheapest option.

Exchanges

  • We accept exchanges. Please contact us to start the process.
  • All items must be in brand new, unworn, unwashed and in original condition
  • All items must be returned to us within 5 days of delivery date
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable
  • Invoice must be included in return package

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of return shipping + new shipping costs for new order. We hope to cover these costs in the future! We recommend shipping it back through USPS since it's the cheapest option.

Refunds

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 6 hours of placing it.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be exchanged/returned, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned. If you received more than 15% off your order, it is not eligible for refund or return. This is only eligible for an exchange.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $80, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
